2026 Call for Art: Small Works (Online Application)

Thank you for your interest in Erie County's 2026 Call for Art: Small Works, presented by the Erie County Arts in Public Places Committee. Please ensure all submission requirements are prepared before you begin the application process. Please follow the guidelines below:

- Text or photographic files are limited to 5 MB in size.
- File names should conform to the following format style: "artistname_photo1"
- Acceptable file formats for pictures are: png, jpg, jpeg, tif, pdf, bmp, or gif
- Acceptable file formats for text documents are: pdf, doc or docx

We strongly encourage applicants to apply BEFORE the deadline (August 17, 2026 at 12PM noon). If you encounter any issues submitting your application, please email publicart@erie.gov or call Erie County Dept. of Environment & Planning at (716)858-1572 before the submission deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted

Please note: Artists may submit up to three Works for consideration, please submit a separate application for each Work (if an artist submits more than three applications, only the first three will be considered).

1. Upload two (2) quality photos of the artwork. Please ensure the photos are free from glare, and the artwork is properly illuminated. The photos should be an accurate depiction of the artwork.

2. Description of artwork: dimensions (inches), materials, concepts, colors.

3. Is the work ready to be installed? Description of installation requirements. *Any framed works requiring glass or acrylic must have UV filtration

4. Final Purchase Price. The purchase price must include any and all associated costs and be no greater than $2000
