Mailbox Replacement Information
When a mailbox post is actually hit by a Town Highway plow, we will replace the mailbox with a standard mailbox and a standard post when necessary. We are not obligated to replace custom-built, ornamental or plastic mailboxes. When the weight of snow is what causes damage to a mailbox or post, it is the homeowner's responsibility to replace the mailbox and/or post. Please call the Town Highway Department at 716-941-3552 if you feel that a town plow has damaged your mailbox and it will be checked out as soon as possible.
