The Erie County Department of Public Works’ Highways Division has announced that road resurfacing work is scheduled to begin on Losson Road in Cheektowaga on Monday, August 29.

Mill and overlay operations will be conducted on the stretch of Losson Road from Transit to approximately 150 feet west of Borden Road, a distance of .65 miles. The project will include the milling and removal of the top 3.5 inches of road surface, which will be replaced with a 2-inch binder and a 1.5 inch topcoat with a protective polymer additive.

Local businesses were notified of the impending project earlier this week. Traffic will be minimally impacted during the project, which is expected to take about a week (weather permitting).
