A delegation of senior Mexican police officials visited the Erie County Public Safety Campus this week to meet with the Department of Central Police Services and the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Services. The delegation is part of a Department of State-sponsored professional exchange program which provides a platform to share ideas and best practices across international borders among public safety professionals. During their time in Erie County the delegation also met with Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz, Commissioner of Central Police Services James Jancewicz, and members of the New York State Police, Buffalo Police Department, and the Orchard Park Police Department as well as representatives of the business community in Erie County.
