Convicted Rapist Sentenced to 25 Years to Life in Prison

Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced today that County Court Judge Kenneth F. Case sentenced 41 year old William Allen of 1985 Broadway, Buffalo, to 25 years to life in state prison in connection with his January 17, 2012 trial conviction for Rape in the First Degree, Sexual Abuse in the First Degree and Rape in the Third Degree. 

Allen’s convictions stem from his July 5, 2010 forcible rape of a 22 year old student who was traveling through Buffalo with a friend.  Allen, who has two prior violent felony sex offense convictions, was on parole when he committed the attack. 

The case was tried by Rosanne E. Johnson, Chief of the Special Victims Bureau and Lynette Reda, Assistant District Attorney.
