Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 23 year old Kareem Howard of 38 Clark Street, Buffalo, pleaded, as charged, to Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree and Criminal Sale of a Firearm in the Second Degree before Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller.  These are the highest charges for which Howard could have been convicted had he gone to trial.

Howard admitted that on several dates between March 23, 2012 and June 1, 2012, he sold nine guns to an undercover police officer. The successful prosecution of Howard was the product of a six month investigation conducted by the New York State Police and Buffalo Police Department.

Howard faces a maximum prison sentence of 50 years when he is sentenced on November 9, 2012 before Justice Boller.
