Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 34 year old Alan Harroun of 7233 Sweetland Road, Derby, pleaded guilty to Attempted Rape in the First Degree and Attempted Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree, before County Court Judge Kenneth F. Case.

Harroun admitted that between June 12, 2005 and November 12, 2005 he sexually abused a seven year old child. 

Harroun was sentenced to ten years in state prison and five years post release supervision by Judge Case.
