Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 35 year old Leland Jirdon of 14 Montclair Street, Buffalo, pleaded guilty, as charged, before Erie County Court Justice Sheila A. DiTullio to an indictment charging Robbery in the Second Degree.  This is the highest charge for which Jirdon could have been convicted of had he gone to trial.

Jirdon admitted that on April 20, 2012 on Davidson Street in Buffalo he aided in the robbery of a pizza delivery driver.  The driver was robbed of $205 after he completed a delivery on Davidson Street.  Jirdon’s co-defendant, 22 year old Ishamele Adams of 568 Eggert Road, previously pleaded guilty to Robbery in Second Degree and faces sentencing of 3 ½ -15 years when he is sentenced on January 24, 2013 at 9:30 AM.

Due to a previous violent felony conviction, Jirdon faces an enhanced sentence of 7-15 years as a second violent felon.  He will be sentenced before the Hon. Sheila A. DiTullio on April 22, 2013 at 9:30 a.m.  The case was prosecuted by ADA Patrick B. Shanahan.
