Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 25 year old Rinaldo McBride was convicted, as charged, of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree after a trial before County Court Judge Michael Pietruszka.
McBride was on parole following a 2008 conviction for the same offense. On November 22, 2011, parole officers found the loaded and operable pistol in his living room closet, together with additional ammunition located in a child’s bedroom.
McBride will be sentenced as a second felony offender before the Hon. Michael Pietruszka on May 13, 2013 when he faces a maximum prison sentence of 15 years.
The case was successfully tried by Assistant District Attorney Paul C. Parisi.
