Buffalo Teen Pleads Guilty to Murder in the Second Degree

Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 18 year old Devon Scott, aka “Ghost”, of 59 Cornwall Avenue, Buffalo, pleaded guilty, as charged, to Murder in the Second Degree before Supreme Court Justice Russell P. Buscaglia.  This is the highest charge for which he could have been convicted had he gone to trial. 

Scott admitted that on July 1, 2012 in the vicinity of Goodyear Avenue, Buffalo, he murdered 30 year old Darrell Anderson of 357 Walden Avenue, Buffalo, by shooting him. 

The case was successfully prosecuted by ADA Gary W. Hackbush.  Scott faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years to life when he is sentenced before Justice Buscaglia on August 8, 2013 at 9:30 a.m.
