Alleged Murderer Indicted by Grand Jury

Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 14 year old Myles Taylor of 216 Northland Avenue, Buffalo, will be arraigned this afternoon before County Court Judge Michael D’Amico on an indictment charging him with Murder in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree.

It is alleged that on July 6, 2013 in the vicinity of 235 Northland Avenue, Buffalo, Taylor murdered 16 year old Kelmyne Jawon Jones by shooting him. 

If convicted of this crime Taylor faces a maximum prison sentence of 15 years to life.  Like all defendants, Taylor is legally presumed to be innocent until his guilt is proven in a court of law.
