Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita III announced that 21 year old Anthony Pena of 146 Lansdale, Buffalo, pleaded guilty to Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, as charged, and Robbery in the Second Degree before Supreme Court Justice John L. Michalski.

Pena’s convictions stem from two separate cases.  On April 8, 2013, Pena used a loaded .32 caliber revolver to rob two victims on Florida and Spillman Streets in Buffalo.  Then, on May 15, 2013, after police officers executed a traffic stop, Pena fled at a high rate of speed, throwing a .32 caliber revolver from his vehicle and driving recklessly through the streets of Buffalo.

Pena faces a maximum prison term of 30 years when he is sentenced as a second felony offender before the Hon. John L. Michalski on August 29, 2013.  The case was successfully prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Paul C. Parisi of the Tactical Prosecution Unit.
