Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 44 year old Rena Carrow of 5825 Genesee Street, Lancaster, pleaded guilty, as charged, to Grand Larceny in the Third Degree before County Court Judge Kenneth F. Case.  This is the highest charge for which Carrow could have been convicted had she gone to trial.

Carrow admitted that between August 31, 2011 and December 5, 2012, while working as the bookkeeper/office manager at Andrews Jewelers, 7088 Transit Road, Williamsville, she stole $51,069.40 in cash from daily sales.

Assistant District Attorney Susan H. Sadinsky, as well as Investigators John Abraham and Anthony Costantino, all of whom are assigned to DA Sedita’s Special Investigations and Prosecution Bureau, successfully investigated and prosecuted the case.

Carrow faces a maximum prison term of 7 years when she is sentenced before Judge Case on January 16, 2013.
