Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announces that 25 year-old Brandyn T. Bradley of Davidson Avenue, Buffalo, pleaded guilty as charged, to Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree before State Supreme Court Justice Christopher J. Burns.  This is the highest charge for which Bradley could have been convicted had he gone to trial. 

On March 14, 2013, on Davidson Ave. in the City of Buffalo, and while cavorting with several members of a street gang, Buffalo Police Officers Michael Acquino and Mark Hamilton found Bradley in possession of a .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol. Davidson was also in possession of a magazine loaded with 14 rounds of live ammunition. No stranger to law enforcement, Bradley has been previously convicted of a felony weapons charge. Accordingly, he faces a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 15 years in state prison when he is sentenced on March 25, 2014 before Justice Burns.

The case was successfully prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Michael Smith, who is assigned to DA Sedita’s Felony Trial Bureau.
