District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announces that 83 year-old Phyllis Eson of 161 Hawthorne Avenue, Tonawanda, will be arraigned at 11:00 a.m. before Supreme Court Justice Russell P. Buscaglia on an indictment charging her with Manslaughter in the First Degree.
It is alleged that on July 6, 2014 at 161 Hawthorne Avenue in the Town of Tonawanda, Eson killed her husband, 89 year-old Norman Eson by beating him.
If convicted of this crime, Eason faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years.
Like all defendants accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
