District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announces that 38 year-old William Tyes of 492 Dodge Street, Buffalo, will be arraigned at 9:30 a.m. before Erie County Court Judge Kenneth F. Case on an indictment charging him with Murder in the Second Degree.

It is alleged that between February 7, 2015 and February 10, 2015 at 492 Dodge Street in Buffalo, Tyes murdered his mother, 68 year-old Lenora Tyes of 492 Dodge Street, Buffalo, by beating her. 

If convicted of this crime, Tyes faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years to life. 

Like all defendants accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
