Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Flaherty, Jr. announces that 48-year-old Mary Rose Brady of Depew has pleaded guilty to two counts of Attempted Criminal Sexual Act in the Third Degree before State Supreme Court Justice John Michalski.
Brady admitted that she twice engaged in sexual contact with a juvenile who was under 17-years-old. One incident occurred in March 2009 and the other in June 2009.
Brady is on unpaid leave from her most recent teaching position and Justice Michalski ordered her to surrender her New York State teaching certification.
The convictions also require her to be classified as a sex offender in New York State.
Brady faces a maximum of one year in jail on each count at her sentencing on July 27,, 2016, 9:30 a.m. before Justice Michalski
