Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 50-year-old Mollie B. McCann Poblocki, also known as Mollie McCann Healy, of Orchard Park was sentenced this morning before Acting State Supreme Court Justice Debra Givens to an indeterminate sentence of 1 to 3 years in prison.

The defendant, while working as an assistant property manager for a Buffalo-based company, stole approximately $53,000.00 from her employer between August 2019 and April 2021. The defendant committed the crime by pocketing a portion of rent payments paid by tenants to the property management company.

Poblocki pleaded guilty to one count of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree (Class “D” felony) on June 10, 2022. As part of her plea, the defendant paid full restitution of $53,000.00 to the victim.

DA Flynn commends ECDA Confidential Criminal Investigator Natalie Perez for her work in the investigation.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Gary M. Ertel of the Special Investigations and Prosecutions (SIP) Unit.
