Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 32-year-old Michael Queener of 170 Blaine Ave. in the City of Buffalo pleaded guilty before Erie County Court Judge Thomas P. Franczyk to Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree. 

On December 19, 2016, at 2:50 p.m., Erie County Sheriff’s Office narcotics personnel stopped Queener as he traveled on the Kensington Expressway in the Town of Cheektowaga.  Queener was transporting more than 4 ounces of powder cocaine in his vehicle with an estimated street value of $5,000.    

Queener will be sentenced to six years in prison when he is sentenced on December 4, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. by Judge Franczyk. 

DA Flynn commends Chief Daniel J. Granville and Deputies Adam Imiolo and Benjamin Pisa of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit for their thorough investigation. 

Assistant District Attorney Justin T. Wallens of the DA’s Narcotics Bureau prosecuted the case.
