Tonawanda Woman Admits Stealing From PTA At Lindbergh Elementary

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 38-year-old Jennifer Seyfang of Tonawanda has pleaded guilty before Erie County Court Judge Kenneth F. Case to Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree and Attempted Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree in connection with a theft at an elementary school and a gymnastics booster club.

From July 1, 2016 to September 2017, Seyfang admitted stealing $18,234.82 from the Charles A. Lindbergh Elementary School in the Town of Tonawanda while she was serving as the treasurer of the Parent-Teachers Association.

Seyfang also attempted to take $9,523.68 from the Greater Buffalo Gymnastics Booster Club where she served as treasurer.

Seyfang has made full restitution.

The defendant faces a maximum of 4 years in prison when she is sentenced by Judge Case on February 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

DA Flynn commends the investigative work of Detective Russell Paternostro from the Town of Tonawanda Police Department.

Assistant District Attorney Gary M. Ertel of the DA’s Special Investigations and Prosecutions Bureau prosecuted the case.
