Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn, Jr. announces that 38-year-old Peter Isaacs of Buffalo has been sentenced by State Supreme Court Justice Russell P. Buscaglia to 13 ½ years in prison followed by 5 years of post-release supervision.

On October 23, 2017, inside a vacant home at West Avenue in the City of Buffalo, the defendant strangled 46-year-old Preston German of Buffalo following an argument.

Isaacs pleaded guilty to Manslaughter in the First Degree in March 2018.

DA Flynn commends the investigative work of the Buffalo Police Department Homicide Squad, including Detectives Scott Malec, Mark White, Terrence Supples and Christopher Sterlace.

Assistant District Attorney Eugene T. Partridge III of the DA’s Homicide Bureau prosecuted case.
