Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that Erie County Court Judge Kenneth Case has found 34-year-old Andre Jones of Buffalo guilty of Assault in the Third Degree following a 5 day bench trial.

On June 28, 2017, the defendant assaulted his neighbor while she was sitting on her porch on Burgard Place in the City of Buffalo and threatened to “shoot up” her house if she did not relocate.

Jones faces a maximum of one year in jail when he is sentenced. The defendant remains remanded without bail.

DA Flynn commends the investigative work of Detective Natasha Anderson of the Buffalo Police Department and Deputy John Healy from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.
