Buffalo Woman Charged in Fatal Stabbing of Boyfriend

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 25-year-old Taylor Partlow of Buffalo has been arraigned before Buffalo City Court Judge Kevin J. Keane on one count of Manslaughter in the First Degree.

On Sunday, September 30 at approximately 5:20 a.m., the defendant is accused of stabbing her boyfriend, 20-year-old Miguel Wyatt, in the chest during an argument at a home on Block Street in the City of Buffalo. The victim later died at ECMC.

Partlow is scheduled to return on Friday, October 5 at 9:30 a.m. for a felony hearing. She remains remanded without bail.

If convicted on the charge, Partlow faces a maximum of 25 years in prison.

DA Flynn commends the investigative work of the Buffalo Police Homicide Squad.

Assistant District Attorney Eugene T. Partridge, III of the DA’s Homicide Bureau and Assistant District Attorney Patrick B. Shanahan of the DA’s Tactical Prosecution Bureau are prosecuting the case.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
