Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 26-year-old Dorian Harold of no permanent address has been arraigned before Buffalo City Court Judge Barbara Johnson-Lee on two counts of Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree, Class “B” felonies, and two counts of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, Class “D” felonies. The defendant was arraigned on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.
It is alleged that on Monday, May 6, 2019, at approximately 11 p.m., the defendant, while a patient at a hospital in the City of Buffalo, engaged in sexual conduct by forcible compulsion with a female victim who was seated in a wheelchair at the time of the assault.
Harold is scheduled to return on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 2 p.m. for a felony hearing. Judge Johnson-Lee set bail at $30,000 cash or bond. The defendant remains held at this time.
If convicted on all charges, he faces a maximum of 25 years in prison.
As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
