Gunman Admits to Grimes Street Homicide

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 25-year-old Andre Rounds of Buffalo pleaded guilty before State Supreme Court Justice John L. Michalski to one count of Manslaughter in the First Degree, a Class “B” violent felony.   

The defendant admitted that during the early morning hours of June 12, 2018, he fatally shot 22-year-old Ronald Miles of Buffalo on Grimes Street in the City of Buffalo.

Rounds faces a maximum of 20 years in prison when he is sentenced on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. He remains remanded without bail.

DA Flynn commends Detective Tony Borrelli and the Buffalo Police Department Homicide Squad for their work in the investigation.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Christine M. Garvey of the DA’s Homicide Bureau and Assistant District Attorney Alicia M. Lilley of the DA’s Felony Trials Bureau.
