Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 54-year-old Mohammed Ali Mused of Buffalo has been arraigned before State Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller, acting as Buffalo City Court Judge, on one count of Murder in the Second Degree, a Class “A-1” felony.
It is alleged that on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, the defendant killed his wife, 42-year-old Muna Abdulrahman Alomari, at their home on Broadway in the City of Buffalo.
Mused is scheduled to return on Friday, April 17, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. for a felony hearing. He remains held without bail.
If convicted of the charge, he faces a maximum of 25 years to life in prison.
DA Flynn commends the Buffalo Police Department Homicide Squad for their work in the investigation.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Christine M. Garvey of the DA’s Homicide Unit.
As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
